Read the article in the RG today and it spurred me to visit your web site & inquire about how to learn to work with wood. I also notified by boyfriend about your portable milling business as he has a large maple with beautiful burls and a cedar in his yard that he needs to remove. He can cut them down himself, but he wants to sell the burls, etc.

Am looking forward to Friday Art Walk in Oct. and will come check out The Splinters gallery.

I cut into the first log from the tree today. The color and grain is some of the nicest I've seen. I appears to be totally curly and marbled. Keep in touch or watch my site for more updates on when it will be ready.

I'd love to get some boards from that tree. I live less than a block from it for many years.
